Meenakari (or Meena work) sarees are among the most luxurious and artistic garments in Indian ethnic wear


Fabrics:The heavy silk provides the necessary strength to hold the weight of the intricate zariwork.

Quality:sarees are considered heirloom pieces and are popular choices for bridal trousseaus.

Cutwork Meena: In this method, the colored zari run across the back of the saree and are later "cut" away manually. This is slightly more affordable but still highly skilled and high-end festive events.

Multi-Colored Motifs: Unlike standard Banarasi sarees that use only one or two colors, a Meena work saree can feature 10 to 20 different colors in a single pallu (end-piece).
